The gallery houses a great part of the Borghese collection of paintings, sculptures and antiquities. Some of the most important exhibits are Apollo and Daphne, David (both by Gian Lorenzo Bernini), Venus Victrix by Canova, Titian's Sacred and Profane Love, Raphael's Entombment of Christ and many others.
